Overview

The Wireless Soil Moisture Sensor and Soil Moisture Probe constitute a flexible instrument that will easily capture soil moisture values, %VWC. It allows the exploration of soil moisture variation with type, conditioning, and time in both an educational and field – based setting.  


The Soil Moisture Probe is designed to be simple to use yet sensitive to measure soil moisture changes (water volume to total volume) to within a 1% accuracy. The probe is connected to a compact yet rugged Soil Moisture Sensor, that will report measurements to the Data Harvest EasySense app. Fully field -deployable, this Soil Moisture Sensor kit comes equipped with both pre-defined and user-defined calibration scales for maximum flexibility.    


The Smart Wireless Soil Moisture Sensor is USB and Bluetooth compatible. Using Bluetooth, a sensor can connect to mobile devices, tablets, laptops, and desktops.
