4.2.0 Continuous, Snapshot and Timing Modes

Data Collection Modes
EasySense2 provides three modes for collecting experimental data: Continuous, Snapshot, and Timing. The mode selected determines how and when data is recorded from the connected device.
Continuous: Data is collected continuously from the selected sensor at a defined sampling rate. This mode is suitable for experiments where a changing measurement needs to be monitored and recorded over a period of time.
Snapshot: A single set of measurements is recorded each time a snapshot is taken. This mode is useful when measurements need to be collected at specific points or under particular conditions rather than continuously.
Timing: Measurements are collected in conjunction with a timing event or trigger. This mode is designed for experiments where the timing of an event, or the interval between events, is important.
The selected collection mode, together with the sampling rate and other available settings, determines how data is acquired during an experiment.
