Data can at times be subject to excessive noise. A good facility to smooth noise is given in the EasySense2 Smoothing option. Once invoked, a dialogue will be displayed that provides an interactive method to suppress or re-establish raw data. 


Naturally, data modification should be avoided where possible! Sometimes, data derivatives or low-counting regimes necessitate processing to emphasise trends.
